  Prompt Response:   It’s 2050, and things are really different. Cars drive on their own, robots help with work, and computers are super smart. The world is hotter, and people are trying to fix it. Some places are good, but others still have problems. Summary: Today, class was short but Mr. Rease assigned us another assignment. Nothing else to be honest since we only had 30 minutes today. Reflection:  Today was a weird day, it felt long but short and I was very exhausted. Tryouts had me really sore and tired but I felt relieved that I got a rest day. We had a pep rally at the end of the day and it was funny seeing the teachers go against students in a basketball game. The students ended up winning. After school I went to work and now im home and can finally rest

  Prompt Response:   Dear Future Me, I hope you’re doing good and didn’t give up on your goals. Remember to keep working hard and be a good person. Don’t forget where you came from and why you started. Summary: Today in class Mr. Rease was out so we had a substitute. We continued reading The Color Purple and answered some questions based on the book. There's been some interesting parts and new characters.  Reflection:  Overall, I had a pretty good day. I had soccer tryouts and felt like I did good. Im excited to make hopefully make the team and impress the coaches. In school I felt pretty tired and took some naps but overall felt pretty good. I need to continue stretching and getting good sleep to prevent cramps or injuries.

. Prompt Response:    I like to plan, take my time, and fix mistakes. In art class, I drew a portrait of Central Cee. I studied his face, sketched lightly, then added details and shading. I was proud because it looked just like him, and my classmates liked it Summary: today in class we worked on an actual cluster chart. We had to choose a character from The Color Purple and I chose Celie. Then we brainstormed some key traits and how she sacrificed, surrendered, or forfeited something. I couldn't finish it but I had majority of the chart filled out.  Reflection:  Today was another decent day, tryouts went pretty good and I felt like I gave it my all. Ill continue to put the work in so tomorrow I can really impress the coaches. Im very excited and really tired because my claves were cramping so bad. I need to stay hydrated and eat plenty so next tryouts ill be fine. 

  Prompt Response:   I stopped making YouTube videos when my friend group stopped filming together. We had different schedules and lost motivation. The break helped me think about my goals, and now I’m ready to start again. Summary: today in class we learned a brainstorming technique that could help us when writing essays. I think the cluster method helps get ideas down and break everything down. I will  definitely be using this in the future to help me in the real life. Reflection:  Today was a very exciting day because of soccer tryouts. I was very excited and did pretty good. I was really nervous but once I got on the field all my worries went away. It was a very long and annoying process but I was really tired after and ready to go at it again

  Prompt Response:   I heard someone talk about a mean prank they played on a classmate, and it made me feel bad. I kept thinking about how it hurt the classmate, even if they didn’t know who did it. I wish I could forget it because it made me see those people differently. Summary: Today in class we had to submit a Semester check where we looked for any missing assignments to make up to get a higher grade.  Unfortunately I had nothing a missing at the moment so my grade couldn't go up.  Reflection:   Today we finally returned to school. I was excited to see my friends and teachers. I think its much easier to be in school than online since Im not getting distracted as much. School was pretty calm, I took some naps and felt really tired towards the end. I had work after school and ate a lot. Im home now and I can finally rest 

Prompt Response:    One time in JROTC, I helped a younger cadet who was having trouble with drill practice. I gave him advice and practiced with him after school, and he ended up doing great during an inspection. It felt amazing to see him gain confidence, and I was proud to have helped. Summary: Today was another  digital learning day, all we did was read letters 61-65 and answer some discussion questions like yesterday.  Reflection:  Today was pretty good and chill just like yesterday, I woke up early for a dentist appointment and I pretty much stayed home and finished work and watched my tv show. We got news that we will be returning to school tomorrow so time excited because I havent seen my friends in a while.  

Prompt Response:  I feel the most at peace when I'm hanging out with my friends. We laugh, talk, and just enjoy each other's company, which makes everything feel relaxed. Being around them helps me forget about stress and just have fun. Summary: Today was another digital learning day so we had to read letters 56-60 and answer some discussion questions which I thought were pretty easy. The letters were interesting and some where a bit confusing but im intrigued so far.  Reflection:  Overall, today was another chill day. I woke up pretty late and didn't really do much. I stayed home and finished homework and was bored. We received news that there would be no school tomorrow either which is making me miss school and all my friends. I feel like school gives me something to do instead of being home doing nothing.
