Langston Hughes I, Too

today we read a poem by Langston Hughes about fighting for equality and being proud of who you are. I learned a couple of things after that lesson. For example, the way the poem addresses the pain of segregation and discrimination, but also expresses a strong sense of pride, self-worth, and optimism for change. Although it's not a long poem, it really says a lot. One thing I liked about the lesson is going over it together as a class. I don't think I have something that I didn't like. I feel pretty good. Tired but good. im kind of having the worst luck today but I know better days will come so I need to relax and not take my frustration out on anyone.
