 Today is the last day of September, in class we had to get into groups and create a big poster board and had to analyze a character from Fences. Mr. Rease gave us Corey and I had to draw what he looks like which I think is going to be fun. We will use the STEAL method to analyze the character. It was really hot in Mr.Reases class but hopefully it gets cool soon. My day so far has been good. Ive been really tired and sleepy but I managed to keep pushing through.

 Today was wear neon to school but barely anyone wore neon. In class we talked about Direct and Indirect characterization. We also learned about STEAL and how it can help us. Then, we continued the play and this time I played the part of Bono which was fun. I found it really interesting when Troy was telling the story of his dad and his younger self. I honestly couldn't believe it and thought about if I would be able to survive by myself at 14. 

 Today, we had to take our pictures and when we got back to class we continued the play. Today I played the role as Gabriel who was a World War II veteran who suffered a head injury during the war, which left him mentally impaired. Because of his injury, Gabriel believes he is the angel Gabriel from the Bible, sent to open the gates of heaven and he often carries a trumpet with him and talks about helping Saint Peter. I think I liked act 3 because it shows their struggles and the way Mr.Rease played the role made it 10x better. 

 Today Mr. Rease was out so we had a sub. We worked on a NEWSELA assignment and completed the quiz and writing prompt. I found the article interesting and cool, I learned that using Google for medical advice can be risky. It shows how easy it is to get the wrong idea about your health and why seeing a real doctor is important. After reading, you'll know how to find better info online and be more careful with what you trust. It's a simple, helpful guide to keep you safe when searching for health answers. My day so far had been good. 

 Today we took an assessment task, I feel like I did pretty good. The story we had to read was really interesting and we had 6 questions to answer, My day has been going pretty good, it felt kind of long today but I still have a really busy weekend coming which is really frustrating. 

 Today we started the play and were assigned roles. it was really funny and I actually liked it. They story itself seems very interesting and im very excited to read more about it. My day has been going good 

 The first six weeks of my senior year have been a mix of excitement and adapting. A big change has been the new YONDR pouches, which keeps our phones locked up during the school day. At first, we were all agape, shocked by the idea of not being able to access our phones all day. However, I’ve started to develop an affinity for the calmness it brings to class. With zero distractions, it's easier to focus, and I’ve noticed how much more adroit I’ve been at completing assignments. Teachers and staff think that it’s improved the aesthetic of our school environment, making it feel more focused and organized. Even with the positives, not everyone feels the same. There’s been a bit of animosity toward the YONDR pouches, especially from students who use their phones all day. Some say it’s an amoral approach to control, taking away personal freedom. But I’ve seen acts of altruism rise between my classmates, with people being more engaged and supportive when someone needs help, rather ...

 Today in class we watched the trailer of Fences which looks like a really cool movie and after, we took notes and discussed with the class about physical and metaphorical fences. im excited for Wednesday because we will be doing a play and it sounds like lots of fun. My day has been going good and I little bit tired but its been good. 

 Today is Friday the 13th, scaryy, but had to copy all 15 words and definitions and come up with 15 original sentences. Its cool to learn new words and add them to your vocabulary. There are some words I have seen before and other where it was more difficult to create a sentence. My day has been tiring but so far good.

 Today we had to answer the discussion questions from yesterday. We all answered them together and talked about different topics. for example, the essay suggests that men are more privileged. It shows how men benefit from having women take on most of the household responsibilities without getting involved. We also learned something cool, in India men hold hands to show a strong friendship connection. My day has been good and im feeling good as well. 

 today we went over a powerpoint slide about gender role norms and answered questions along the way. we also read a story and talked about it. Reflection: i think sometimes when it comes to wanting a husband, people set high expectations but some don’t. 

 today we went over a powerpoint about gender roles, genders, sexual orientation, etc. it made me think critically about how i grew up and expectations. while we were going over the powerpoint we had a sheet we had to answer questions about the topic. my day was pretty good it went by really fast

 Today we took a vocab quiz and I found it kind of easy and felt like I did a good job. We also listened to classmates presenting their story map and it was really cool how multiculturally diverse we all are. I had a pretty good day at school and have work straight after this. 

 Today we presented out story maps. it was really cool and funny to see other people’s stories and learn something new. i felt good when i presented mine and i think i did a great job. my school day had been going really good. 

 today we worked on our projects from the weekend. i was mainly working on putting finishing touches and i think i was able to relate to the project a lot. i liked how it came out and feel good about presenting it to the class. today was a pretty good day.
