  Prompt Response:  Something I've always been curious about Is how millionaires or billionaires were able to receive so much money and how they were able to achieve that goal.  Summary: Today in class, I DIDNT GO! I stayed home because I was exempted from my final so I have no idea what we did in class Reflection:  Overall, today was pretty good. It felt so good being able to sleep in and not worry about school. I had so much more free time and did so much today my brain couldn't keep up. I was really tired towards the end but missed my friends and teachers at school. 

  Prompt Response:  I think the best gift I have received was a guitar. It was a 12 string guitar I always wanted when I was younger and I begged my dad for it and he bought it for me and I remember I was playing nonstop for the next month.  Summary: Today in class, Mr. Rease was out so we had a sub and worked on reading letters 20-25 and had an assignment to do about the reading.  Reflection:   Overall, my day was pretty good. I bought some stuff for my parents online and went to the mall to buy some more things. I realized im a very undesisive person and overthink situations. So it was very hard to pick out the perfect gift for my family. 

  Prompt Response:  The song "Dandelions"by Ruth B brings back so much  memories. I remember going out shopping with my girlfriend and we were just having fun enjoying time and making so much memories and the song was played on the store speakers and she dedicated it me which I thought was really sweet. I could never forget that day or moment  Summary: Today in class, we worked on The Color Purple discussion question and read more letters from the book. Im not going to lie... I was really tired and fell asleep through the whole class and Mr. Rease woke me up last second in time for the bell. Reflection:  Overall, my day was pretty good, I have work after school today so im excited because that means I get to eat some good food. I got really tired towards the end of school which im not sure why but im ready to get home after work and sleep.

 I used to believe every scary story I heard on Youtube. Stories about ghost, haunted houses, killers, and more kept me up at night scared and checking my closet and under my bed. I look back it now and its funny because I would get so scared of stories that were made up. Today in class, we were partnered up to complete a quiz/test on illuminate. We had to circle the correct answer, cross out the completely wrong answer and mark an x on the closest answer. My partner and I did pretty good, we got most of them correct and I got an 80 on it. I think it definitely helps us with test taking skills and choosing the correct answers. My day was going pretty good today, I felt a bit more energetic than my other days. I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes and ate pretty good.

 Growing up, my siblings and I loved watching funny YouTube videos together. We would always laugh nonstop at the pranks and fails people would do. It’s one of my favorite memories because we were all so happy and carefree. Today in class, we presented our video stories. It was actually fun and cool seeing what my classmates came up with and just a fun way to learn about the letters in the book. I think I did a good job with mine, it was neat and the transitions were good. Overall, my day has been going pretty good. I was hungry the whole day at school so hopefully I get something to eat after.

 One unforgettable meal was Thanksgiving with my family. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. We all sat together, talked, laughed, and felt thankful for each other. The food was great, but being with my family made it even better. Today in class we started our project on the book, The Color Purple. We were given a letter and I got the second which I think would be interesting to do a video about. Im very excited to make the video because I know I am very creative and would want to make it perfect. My day has been pretty good. I was really tired and was sleeping throughout all my periods.

 I can’t stop thinking about Christmas. The lights, the music, and the smell of cookies make it feel magical. I love spending time with my family and seeing everyone happy. It’s the best time of year, and I wish it could last forever. Today in class Mr. Rease taught us some test taking techniques that could help us out. So we answered some questions and applied the technique to our own responses. I kind of already knew about the technique but Mr. Rease dove deeper into using it properly which I found useful. After, we read a couple of letters from the book and watched some clips on YouTube. I will say, the movie was confusing and excluded some parts. I think I would prefer to read the book. Overall, ive been really tired and was falling asleep during 7th. But my day was pretty good so far, it was a chill day and I hope it will be tomorrow as well. 

 When my friend passed away, I felt very sad and weak. I had to stay strong to support others who were also hurting. Even though it was hard, I found strength by remembering the good times we shared. Today in class we started reading the book, The Color Purple by Alice Walker.   I felt shocked and heartbroken. Celie's words are full of pain, and it felt like she was telling me her deepest secrets. I could feel her fear and confusion, and it made me want to protect her. It’s heavy, but it pulled me in right away. After the reading, we discussed the letters and it really helped me understand them  more. Overall, my day has been okay. It did feel sort of long but I was relieved that it was the end of the day. 

 I once talked to a teacher who believed in me more than I believed in myself. They said I had the power to do great things if I worked hard. That talk made me want to try my best every day. Today in class we were introduced to new vocabulary words. We had to write the definitions and 1 synonym and 1 antonym for each word. I found is useful because it seemed easy for me to remember. We then had to fill in the blanks with the correct vocal word to complete the sentence. My day has been going pretty good, first day back from the break wasn't bad. I liked how my teacher didn't assign much which was such a relief.
