 I once talked to a teacher who believed in me more than I believed in myself. They said I had the power to do great things if I worked hard. That talk made me want to try my best every day. Today in class we were introduced to new vocabulary words. We had to write the definitions and 1 synonym and 1 antonym for each word. I found is useful because it seemed easy for me to remember. We then had to fill in the blanks with the correct vocal word to complete the sentence. My day has been going pretty good, first day back from the break wasn't bad. I liked how my teacher didn't assign much which was such a relief.

  I was told that the day I was born was a very happy day for my family. Everyone was excited and full of joy. Because of that, I feel like I relate more to Infant Joy. Overall, today was a bad day because we lost our playoff game in soccer. It was tough since we had worked so hard to get that far, and everyone was really hoping for a win. We played our best, but it just wasn’t enough. It’s disappointing, but we’ll use it as motivation to improve for next season.

  I think the most beautiful creation in the world is the ocean. It is so big and full of life, with blue water that shines in the sun. Every wave and every creature inside it shows how amazing nature is. The ocean inspires me because it feels peaceful but powerful at the same time. Today in class, we read The Tyger by William Blake. After reading it, we analyzed it together as a class. We talked about what the poem means and shared our ideas . School was okay today. Classes went by like usual, and there wasn’t anything crazy or exciting that happened. I just focused on my work and hung out with some friends during lunch. Overall, it was a pretty calm and normal day.
