Prompt: If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

1.Improve School- Invest in better teachers, supplies, and free community college so every student has a fair chance to succeed

2. Fight Climate Change- clean energy like solar and wind, protect forests, and encourage companies to go green.

3.Affordable Healthcare- Lower the cost of doctor visits, medicines, and make sure everyone can get the care they need.

4. Homeless Shelters- Build more homeless shelters for those who need help and provide a place to stay during critical weather conditions

5. Better Immigration Rules- help undocumented immigrants to become citizens and make legal immigration faster and simpler.

Summary: Today in class we read an article about Jimmy Carter. I learned so many new things about him and all of his major accomplishments. I thought it was really cool and interesting and we had to answer a constructed response and a quiz which I thought was pretty easy.

Reflection: Overall, I had a pretty good day today, it was better than yesterday but we received the news that there will be no school tomorrow, which means I can finally get some rest and hopefully enjoy the snow.
