Prompt: Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

 Prompt Response: Being in the Mexican folklore dance group definitely had me stepping out of my comfort zone multiple times. Having to perform in front of huge crowds was always nerve wracking and something to get used to.

Summary: Today in class we read some letters from The Color Purple. We had class discussions throughout the reading and pointed out key points. It got kind of weird towards the end because of what the characters were talking about but overall it was very interesting.

Reflection: Overall, my day went pretty good today, I wasn't sleeping in most of my classes and actually payed attention. I got kind of tired towards the end of the day but I woke up on time and put on a good outfit which made me happy.

Friday 9/13

 Today is Friday the 13th, scaryy, but had to copy all 15 words and definitions and come up with 15 original sentences. Its cool to learn new words and add them to your vocabulary. There are some words I have seen before and other where it was more difficult to create a sentence. My day has been tiring but so far good.

Thursday 10/10

 Today in class we took a test on the book Fences. it was kind of easy but not really. I scored an 89 I think which im kind of proud of. I will definitely read the book again and still need to watch the movie/ My day so far has been good and it felt weird having block day odd periods on thursday.
