How important is it for you to retain your cultural foods as you move forward in life? Explain the importance and which foods you cannot live without.

Prompt Response: Keeping cultural foods is important to me because they remind me of my roots and family traditions. These foods help me feel connected to where I come from. I can’t live without foods like tacos, tamales, and pozole. They taste great and bring back memories of family meals and celebrations, which make them a big part of my culture.

Summary: In class, we made a digital poster about different foods and events. We focused on why each food is important and how it connects to traditions and celebrations. It was a fun way to learn about the meaning of food.

Reflection: My day was good. I liked working on the poster because it made me think about the foods I enjoy and why they matter. I felt productive in class and had fun with the project. After, I was able to relax and finish some homework, which made the rest of the day go well.
