Prompt: Describe what you did over the winter break (use at least 5 words from Vocabulary Lesson 10 in your paragraph)

Prompt Response: Over winter break, I mostly just played soccer with my friends. We had some pretty intense games, and I tried not to impair my skills by being lazy. When I wasn’t playing, I was stuck at work, where my coworkers would always importune me to take their shifts, which was kinda annoying. On my days off, I went to the mall with my family, and my little sibling’s idolatry of sneakers made us stay there forever. When I was finally home, I just wanted to chill, but my imperious little cousin kept bugging me to play video games. Overall, break was kinda busy, but at least it wasn’t boring.

Summary: Today in class we worked on our comic strips. I made the comic strip on my own, using the vocabulary words we needed. I made sure each word was used correctly in the story, making it fun and educational.

Reflection:My day was good. Everything went smoothly, and I was able to get things done without any major issues. It felt productive, and I had a positive mood throughout the day.

  Prompt Response:   When my teacher told me, "You’re stronger than you think," it stuck with me. It made me believe in myself during tough times. Those words still push me to keep going. Pretty much it for today Reflection:  Today I didn't think it was going to snow but it did in the afternoon. It looked cool at first but then it got worse. Friday 9/13

 Today is Friday the 13th, scaryy, but had to copy all 15 words and definitions and come up with 15 original sentences. Its cool to learn new words and add them to your vocabulary. There are some words I have seen before and other where it was more difficult to create a sentence. My day has been tiring but so far good.

Thursday 10/10

 Today in class we took a test on the book Fences. it was kind of easy but not really. I scored an 89 I think which im kind of proud of. I will definitely read the book again and still need to watch the movie/ My day so far has been good and it felt weird having block day odd periods on thursday.
