Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

Prompt Response: If I wrote a poem about my life right now, it would be about working hard and trying to figure things out. I’m busy with school, my job, and other stuff, and sometimes it feels like a lot. But I keep going because I have big goals and want to do well. I’d also talk about my friends, family, and the little moments that make life fun. Even when things get stressful, I know it’s all part of the journey.

Summary: Today in class we learned how to write a powerful thesis statement. We took notes in class and I learned a few things. Some I already knew like, a strong thesis statement is one sentence that says the main point of an essay. It should be clear, have an opinion, and give a small preview of what the essay will talk about. A good thesis helps keep the writing on track and makes it easier for the reader to understand.

Reflection: Today was a pretty good day. School wasn't bad and I had varsity practice again today. We didn't really do much but we need to trust the process. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day and im more productive. Nothing much happened afterwards, I got home and pretty much stretched all night to get ready for another day at practice.
