Prompt: When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

When I’m in a mood that I don’t like, I listen to music or clean. Music helps me relax and distracts me from whatever is bothering me. Cleaning also helps because it keeps me busy and makes me feel more in control. Doing these things usually helps me feel better and clears my mind.

We did a digital mood poster about *The Yellow Wallpaper* in class. It was a creative way to show the different emotions and themes in the story. We used images, colors, and quotes to represent the main character’s mental state and how the wallpaper symbolized her feelings. It helped me understand the story in a deeper way by visualizing the mood.

Today was an okay day. Nothing too exciting happened, but it wasn’t bad either. I got through my classes without any problems, and the lessons were pretty interesting. I had some good conversations with friends during breaks, which made the day feel a little better. After school, I had some time to relax, and it was nice to have a chill evening. Overall, it was just a normal day with a good balance of work and downtime.
