Prompt: Consider a film that portrays your culture. Reflect on how accurately your culture is represented and the potential impacts of this portrayal

One film that portrays my culture is Coco. It shows Mexican traditions like Día de los Muertos in a respectful and beautiful way. The music, family values, and visuals felt very real and familiar. It helps people understand and appreciate our culture more, which is important.

Today in class we presented our group projects about African American stereotypes in film. My group talked about how certain characters are shown in movies. We also watched other groups present their projects. It was interesting to see all the different examples people found.

I had a game today and it was intense. We ended up going to penalties after a tough match. Everyone was nervous, but we stayed focused. We won in penalties and it felt amazing.
